vKi 1.1 Features
- Manipulate and set Kyma sound parameters through faders and "rotary-faders" optimized for touch-screen control. Access all the parameters in groups of four using the arrow keys.
- Control parameters with normal or fine adjustment mode
- Browse or load-in Kyma sound snapshots
- Adjust Kyma’s master volume or mute all sound
- Create unexpected sounds using the "Roll Dice" feature Learn Tab: Link up to 16 Kyma controls to specific faders on vKi's Learn screen
- Select the Group and Channel for the Learn faders through Preference settings
- Buttons Tab: 32 toggle switches/buttons emulate this Kyma feature
- "Jump to Touch" Fader Control: Preference setting that causes the fader knob to "jump" directly to any place you tap within the fader/rotary bar

Other Benefits
- For Paca(rana) systems, no computer "agent" programs, drivers, or utilities are needed, and it can be used with any computer and OS supported by Kyma. (The Pacarana must be connected to your WiFi network directly or through KymaConnect or PacaConnect.)
- For Capybara 320 owners,install either our CapyLink or KymaConnect applications to allow vKi to be used with your Kyma system. See CapyLink or KymaConnect to learn more.
- Controls are optimized for "one-hand" operation. With the mobility of the iPhone/iPod touch, you are no longer tethered to your computer mouse and can operate another controller anywhere in your studio.
- Both vKi products support systems with one or multiple Paca(rana)s or Capybaras.

Requirements
- iPhone or iPod Touch with OS 3.13 or higher
- EITHER Symbolic Sound Kyma x.75 with Paca or Pacarana sound design engine running Kyma software and firmware version 6.81 or higher + WiFi access to same network Paca(rana) is connected
- OR Symbolic Sound Kyma x.75 with Capybara 320 sound design engine running Kyma software and firmware version 6.81 or higher + WiFi access to same network Capybara is connected + Delora CapyLink agent program installed on a Mac with OSX 10.5.8 or later (KymaConnect can be used instead of CapyLink if using OSX 10.6 or 10.7).
